AI Solution Architect (Founding-Level)

At PMassistant.ai, we are building an AI-powered Project Management System. Our mission is to empower project managers by leveraging AI to augment human capabilities and optimize 80% of project management mundane tasks.

What You Will Do

• Design the end-to-end technical architecture for an AI-augmented project decision and collaboration platform on Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and deploy core services including data pipelines, orchestration layers, LLM/agent gateways, vector search with RAG, and workflow automation.
• Implement GenAI/agentic workflows to surface recommendations, summarize signals, and automate decision flows.
• Develop prompt frameworks, memory strategies, tool-chains, and guardrails for reliability and traceability.
• Work directly with the Founder to convert real-world use cases into MVP features.
• Prototype rapidly, test with early users, and iterate quickly.
• Lead and mentor an offshore engineering team while setting coding standards, CI/CD, and documentation practices.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions and recommend scalable architecture choices for a fast-paced startup.
• Define data models for project metadata, decision logs, and collaboration artifacts.
• Implement secure data handling, IAM, and environment segregation.
• Launch the MVP environment in GCP with core LLM/data systems integrated.
• Deliver decision-support workflows to pilot users and build a prompt/agent orchestration library.
• Establish coordination and productivity in the distributed team.
• Implement foundational telemetry and metrics tracking (usage, quality, cost).

What We Are Looking For

• Startup mindset: fast prototyping, lean delivery, and iteration-based learning.
• Comfortable in a founding role with equity-first compensation, moving to salary with growth.
• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience (frontend, backend, cloud services).
• 2+ years working with AI/ML or GenAI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents).
• Deep experience with GCP: Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Storage, Functions, Pub/Sub.
• Experience with LangChain or similar agent orchestration tools.
• Built or integrated vector search (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Vertex AI Vector Search).
• Proven leadership managing distributed/offshore engineering teams or vendors.

Nice To Have

• Experience with workflow automation platforms or low-code systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
• Background in prompt evaluation, LLM cost optimization, or fine-tuning techniques.
• Direct collaboration with PMs, analysts, or operations teams.
• MLOps/LLMOps exposure (e.g., Vertex AI, MLflow, LangSmith, W&B, or custom frameworks).
